Event Description

65th Annual Conference of Associations of Physicians of India(APICON 2010) will be held in Jaipur, India on 07 - 10 January 2010. The City of Jaipur is located in the State of Rajasthan in the Northwest part of India. Jaipur, also popularly known as the Pink City.
Built of pink stucco in imitation of sandstone, the city is remarkable among pre-modern Indian cities for its beautifully planned network of streets and urban quarters. The Palace quarter encloses a sprawling palace complex (the Hawa Mahal, or palace of winds), formal gardens, and a small lake. Nahargarh Fort crowns the hill in the northwest corner of the old city. Another
noteworthy building is Sawai Jai Singh's observatory, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and Amber Fort. With its rich and colourful past, resplendent with tales of valour and bravery, Jaipur is now one of the most important heritage cities in India, and is a must-see for tourists coming to India.

It is located about 250 km from New Delhi and Agra (the home of the Taj Mahal).The APICON Conference series is recognized worldwide as the premier occasion for networking with fellow API members, non-member's, researchers, sharing cutting-edge research and development through high-impact presentations, learning about the latest techniques in the field, and defining the research agenda for the profession. Following on the successful series of past APICON Conferences, the 65th APICON will serve as a venue to bring together clinicians & physicians from all over India, their prime objective is to encourage and advance the knowledge, study and practice of the science of medicine. They aim to encourage research, including experimental work, in the science of medicine.
