cause of death in a 22 days baby presented to causualty

baby's mother presented with a complaint that baby has hiccups and a single convulsions episode of convulsions in upperlimbs lasting for about 3 -5 min, today morning in causualty.

O/E : GC poor, pallor + , tense anterior frontenelle, no cry, respiration and activity is poor with shallow respiratory, distended bladder, CRT < 3 sec. sO2 : 56% .

but the unfortunate thing is that the baby died within 2 hrs.

can u please explain the causes of death in this condition and treatment.

The permission to do PM is difficult to obtain in our country.

The tense fontanelle should give some clues.

It could be "severe intraventricular haemorhage" as child on 22nd day presented wid focal convulsions.
or it might b meningitis...
