hi...i hope the future of dentistry becomes bright in the coming days...but today in most of the hospitals there is no dental department and if it is there it is outsource one and their is no patient for there.
but we can hope in the coming days.

future is very bad according to me, even if u are very good practically. as there is no awareness regarding oral/dental health. and if u think after five years the condition will be worst. people stopped taking admissions in dental line, they and me too think its better now to do BA than BDS/MDS. atleast after BA u can think to do some other work but after BDS u even cant think because of ur useless degree.

Future is bright when intra-proffesional ethics are followed . Referrals shud be practiced and a fine line shud be drawn between general and specialist dental practice. Mutual respect between specialist and general dental practitioners is a must...orelse we can keep flinging mud on each other...and at the end bring bad repute to the proffession as a whole.
The idea of visiting professors in dental colleges shud be checked and dedicated full time staff shud be encouraged so that the output of freshers wud be of high quality. There is NO dedication among the teaching staff as most of them are visiting faculty and have no responsibility towards students.
