Spirituality for psychiatrist

Whether a Psychiatrist should be spiritual to make himself mentaly strong while dealing with psychiatric patients?
Earlier psychoanalists students had to undergo self psychoanalysis before they start independently treat patients.
These days it looks as though all psychiatrist need to undergo this kind of psychoanalysis before they start dealing with patients.
Conflict of patients can become conflict of the psychiatrist. If this is avoided then psychiatrist efficiency at work will be better.
