HI!!I´m back still wanting so much to chat with you!! I read about exams... you need to revalidate here your MhD, I also try to see every detail... bundle ok very and warm hugs and kisses!!!
Hi:-) Yes, I'm really busy now:) I hope it will change soon, cause I don't have time for myself. But it's the price for dream to be a surgeon (as a woman) in Poland:)
Hope things are well for you. Good luck to any pts. you might end up having to work on w/out a sufficient time to speak of all important matters of treatment w/ as that can be some of the most disturbing circumstances for NS pts. And always try to keep in mind the overall well being of anyone you end up doing a "rather generous resection" on and suchlike.
Hey Burhan, Im sorry I havent been in touch, Ive been a little busy, however please check out the link above.

Burhan, I am waiting to hear back from a few people who are on vacation. Basically I was told that there is no prematch positions, which is sort of true. I uderstand from one of the foreign MDs, that as sort of a back door you can get hired as a research assistant, then get accepted into a residency with the same department after that. I do not know how that works, but as soon as I know I will let you know.
Mike
I will ask around, most of my duties are not involved with research so I have very little interaction with the people doing it. I mainly focus in clinical and education aspects, most of the reaearch i see is actually reading somebody elses.
Hope and pray all is well `n sound at your end Insha`Allah! As per your enquiries, I apologize for delays in my responses because I am very busy with things on hand lately. As far as applyin to Canada for Trauma Surg., you need to have cleared Canadian Medical Board Exams (LMCC/MCCQE) in addition to IMG assessments. As what I have read in your msg., you have already written first 2 steps of USMLE, so it would be rather easier for you to get match in respective dept.s as per selection based on your steps' scores and interviews. Do you have any foreign-based research experience durin your undergrad.? I think I know some ppl. in Shifa Int'l. who have experience workin outside in N.American institutes as fellows and/or research clinicians. It would be helpful if you consult them before as they may have favourable links in states. As far as trauma surgery is concerned, you have to complete your 5 yr.s residency in either of the respective fields of gen.surg. or orthopedics and then it is a 2 yr.s fellowship that you can sub-specialize in Critical Surgery Care (AKA - Trauma Surgery). This is so far the info. I can provide you here in this limited time I have but Insha`Allah definitely will ask around for more to guide you on it. All the best!
