it was a fourth day of my internship and i was posted to the ob & gy dept. it was night shift labour room duty.....i was very excited and anxious both, as there was so much hustle n bustle....residents were running all around and ofcourse, incessant…
haha ..cant stop laughing !!

Riz said… - as to what field, yes, ENT or Ophtha seems a logical choice when it comes to less emergencies...as long as you have an interest in those fields, I don't see any reason why you can't go into those specialties..
As for other sources of income while you're an intern, that is pretty difficult, your online business should suffice for now..now for moonlighting, if you're not yet sure what residency to apply for, it's ok but if you're already sure, it's best to go straight into residency...they have better compensations now for residents than we did...I think some residents get around 14k a month nowadays...yeah, I'm doing well in my practice, thanks..:-)
